Peterson Tool took a break in production on Wednesday afternoon, July 7th to honor two employees and celebrate the strong results of June.
John Hargis celebrated his 25th anniversary as a Peterson Tool Company employee. John, an engineer in the design department, was hired on June 10, 1985. He is pictured right with John Peterson and Nancy Peterson Hearn. John joins a group of 22 current PTC faithful employees that have celebrated this monumental accomplishment. A future press release will detail this group.
In addition to John’s celebration, John Peterson, President of PTC recognized the first in what will be a monthly recognition of employee accomplishments in the Peterson Tool Company’s “Extra Mile Award”. The first recipient is JD (John) Colley (pictured left). JD heads up Peterson’s Coating operation and keeps everything in the plant running smoothly using his electrical engineering expertise. In addition to the plaque JD also received a $50 gift card.
Joining the meeting was candidate CeCe Heil who is running for Tennessee’s 5th Congressional District. Before and after the meeting she visited with Peterson’s employees.
Cake and ice cream were enjoyed by all.
